Fazenda Itapema / Cachaca Itapema

At the beginning of the 19th century, one of Major Levy's brothers, Dr. Martinho Levy, a geologist studied in England, began experiments with oil, including its exploration in the Corumbataí river basin near the town of Rio Claro. One of the towers is still in its original location.
