History
Company was established in 2013.
Distillery was founded by three friends, Ken Lee, Tom Bleakley a Tony Grillo.
The Malahat was the "Queen of Rum Row". Her call to glory came during Prohibition. Loaded with the finest spirits available, she would set sail down the U.S. West Coast to "Mexico". When she reached Southern California, the Malahat would rendezvous with smaller boats - "Rum Runners" – and deliver her precious cargo.
The Malahat was the source for rum, whiskey and other spirits available in Southern California.
Malahat Spirits will continue that tradition by handcrafting and distilling the best spirits.
