M. Klein a syn, Votice
History
The company was nationalized on Juny 21, 1948.
His efforts to enrich himself were not futile. In February 1940, on recommendation by the regional economic consultant of the NSDAP, the Reich Protcctor appointed him as a Treuhander for the company M. Klein & Son. operating a vinegar and liqueur producing plant and wine cellars in Votice (Wotitz), with a monthly salary of 600 RM. Approximately 30 persons were employed at the enterprise and its annual turnover exceeded 3 millions K. Simultaneously with managing this company, Kriglstein held the position of a Treuhänder in another two smaller liqueur distilleries in Mlada Vozice (Jung Woschitz) and Benesov (Beneschau).
Kriglstein managed the acquired enterprise apparently until the end of war because in May 1945 he was detained in Votice.
